![]() ![]() I live off of my VA disability from combat wounds sustain overseas, and spending nearly 600 dollars with this service to gain nothing in return is a disgrace. I sit writing this review in Denver Colorado, 300 miles from home, trying to get my expedited passport at the Passport Agency, facing a 300 mile drive home to hopefully make a 7:35 am flight to Germany, where I was invited to try out for the Paralympic team in skiing. The best answer I could get was that I needed to call the National Passport Center and "figure it out". In short, I spent nearly 600 dollars for nothing, as in the end I had to do it all myself anyway. I have never seen such rudeness or incompetence in trying to to get a passport request fulfilled. I am a 100% permanently and totally disabled Special Forces veteran, in my career I held numerous passports including Official (red book) and Diplomatic (black book). After I explained that I felt this was a material breach of Colorado contract law, she HUNG UP on me. She kept reiterating facts to me that were not true. I attempted to call for a refund, and was told by Carol, one of the rudest human beings I have ever encountered, that I wasn't eligible for one. Never did get my Passport, I ended up having to drive 300 miles through the Rocky mountains to Denver to spend 2 days trying to get an expedited passport,(which I was charged extra for) since my trip is tomorrow. This is another update regarding this saga. ![]() I spent $2000 on a trip and fees for nothing. This was all because someone did not know what a CERTIFIED copy looked like. 3 days later, I was chastised for not submitting a copy of the application and letter of authorization with the seal packet. The passport agent verified that I had everything, sealed all the documents and I sent it back to Rush My Passport. I then went through more drama trying to fill out a lost passport application. ![]() My original expired passport fell out of my bag. The rep begged me to take the certified copy to verify if it was certified. ![]() And the audacity to tell me the application was expired when they held it. They waited 2 months and sat on my application. I called them back and a very nice rep helped, but the damage was done. Yet in my packet was my original CERTIFIED, stamped copy I sent with the application. The letter stated my application expired and that my name change documents were not certified. They claimed to have reached out to me Aug 3rd. Later that afternoon, I got my ENTIRE application back. Rush My Passport rep told me my packet was going to be in the mail that day. Customer Service told me to call closer to my travel date. I started calling in September because my info was not in the system for my passport status. I Paid $239.00 in addition to the Fed Ex fee. ALL forms were printed fit to page as I always do so every word is printed - we were then told by customer service we needed to print them larger?!! That has never happened to me before on any government forms applications.Needless to say that caused extreme anxiety - having to do all over and hope I'd get passport in time ( I did and the card so happy with end results and how customer service responded & helped me and reassured me I'd get in time) BUT customer service also didn't understand urgent email we received and my husband literally helped your representative figure out problem! And no one has ever heard of this large print demand - you MUST include in your initial instructions. This caused us to have to pay $50 more along with all those days of worrying if we solved the problem!!Lastly WAY too long waits on phone for customer service.Ĭannot believe Fed Ex associates itself with Rush My Passport. We received urgent message that passport agency rejected my application because forms not printed properly. There was a terrible error in your instruction on how to print forms. ![]()
